Ethnic Youth Residents fleeing from the Hands of MNDAA and TNLA Entrusted to their Parents and Guardians

The MNDAA and TNLA have forcefully detained young ethnic residents to conduct military trainings and serve in the TNLA's military. Under these circumstances, those who did not want to serve duties under these terrorist groups fled from them and returned to the nearby Tatmadaw bases and departmental organizations.

On 28 May, a ceremony was held at the hall of North-eastern Command, to hand over four young ethnic residents who had escaped to their parents and guardians. During the event, officials provided cash assistance to each youth before handing them over to their parents and guardians, it is reported.
