In the Manaw Shwe Pyi Hall of offices in collection in Myitkyina Township, Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan and party met IDPs who have sheltered in religious building compounds, orphanages and IDP camps because of instability in the areas. They have provided additional 1,513 people of 341 households who have temporarily sheltered there with 341 bags of rice (24 pyi per one bag) by the National Disaster Management Committee and 341 packs of instant noddle by the State Government.
Then, IDP households presented requirements such as further construction of temporary buildings, repairs of old buildings, school enrolment for children, healthcare and drinking water to the Chief Minister and he fulfilled the needs, reports say.
