Efforts made to Increase Exports in the Fiscal Year of 2024-2025

In the tenure of State Administration Council Government, efforts are being made to increase exports via border trade posts and regular trade routes. In this regard;

  • Within one-year period in the fiscal year of 2024-2025, it is scheduled to export USD 805 million worth of marine products to foreign markets.
  • From 1st April to 3rd May 2024 in the fiscal year of 2024-2025, Myanmar earned a total of USD 217.526 million from the export of 254,047.875 tonnes of pulses.
  • During over one-month period from 1st April to 17 May in the fiscal year of 2024-2025, Myanmar earned USD 867.515 million from the export of CMP products: USD 485.41 million via government agencies and USD 382.105 million via private sector.
  • During over one-month period from 1st April to 17 May in the fiscal year of 2024-2025, Myanmar earned USD 21.315 million from the export of mineral products via private sector. It also earned USD 21.063 million in the same period of last year. Therefore, exports rose USD 0.252 million in this year.

Within April and May 2024, Myanmar earned a total of USD 1,762.775 million from the exports of agricultural, animal, marine, mineral, forest, CMP and other products.
