As basic education schools: high schools; middle schools and primary schools under the Department of Basic Education of the Ministry of Education for the 2024-2025 academic year will be open as of 3rd June, the enrolment week has been set from 23 May to 2 June. From 23 to 27 May, 5,160,019 students had made school enrolment.
Union Minister for Education, Dr. Nyunt Phay, region and state chief ministers, Commanders from various Commands, Deputy Ministers and relevant officials paid a visit to the schools conducting enrollment procedures and encouraged teachers and students. Moreover, they provided textbooks, exercise books, stationary and school uniforms to the students and coordinated their requirement.
