6th Air Staff Talks between Myanmar and Indian Air Forces Held

A delegation led by Assistant Chief of the Air Staff (Intelligence) Air Vice-Marshal Ichettira Iyappa Kuttappa VM VSM of the Indian Air Force arrived in Nay Pyi Taw on 13 May to attend the sixth Myanmar Air Force-Indian Air Force Air Staff Talks. It was welcomed at Nay Pyi Taw Airport by senior air force officers, the Indian Defence Attaché to Myanmar and officials.

On 14 May, the 6th Myanmar Air Force-Indian Air Force Air Staff Talks took place at Nay Pyi Taw Airbase. The meeting was also attended by the representatives from India and Myanmar Air Forces, the Indian Defence Attaché to Myanmar and officials. Delegates from both countries discussed relevant topics during the meeting and exchanged gifts.

On 15 May, the Indian delegation visited the Uppatasanti Pagoda and Maravijaya Buddha Image, the Defence Services Museum, the Memorial to Fallen Heroes and the Gems Emporium in Nay Pyi Taw. On 16 May, they visited Flying Training Base and he Hangar (1). The delegation visited Bogyoke Aung San market and paid homage to Shwedagon Pagoda. On 17 May, the delegation left Yangon for India, it is reported.
