Around 350,000 foreign tourists visited Myanmar in Jan-Mar 2024 and the visits arose the most in December 2023. Many foreign tourists came to Myanmar in Jan-April and the most visits took place in Thingyan Festival occasion.
During the visiting occasion in 2024, most travellers visited Chaungtha, Ngwe Saung and and other new beaches in addition to the visits to Mandalay, Bagan, Inn Lay, Kalaw, Kyaiktiyo areas, it is reported.
