Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr. Kan Zaw and Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung separately received the delegation led by H.E. Mr. Mongkol Visitstump, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Myanmar, at the respective meeting halls in Nay Pyi Taw on 10 May.
- During the meeting between Union Minister Dr. Kan Zaw and Thai Ambassador, both sides discussed enhancing bilateral economic and investment cooperation, the export-import process and financial matters between Myanmar and Thailand.
- During the meeting between Union Minister U Min Naung and Thai Ambassador, they discussed the matters related to permitting private entrepreneurs from Thailand to invest in agricultural and livestock production in accordance with the law and cooperation to develop agriculture and livestock in both countries.
The permanent secretary and departmental officials of the relevant ministries were also present at the meetings, it is reported.
