Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing Accepts Credentials of Indian Ambassador to Myanmar

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accepted Credentials of Indian Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Abhay Thakur at the Credential Hall of the Office of the State Administration Council Chairman in Nay Pyi Taw on 10 May.

At the ceremony, they cordially discussed enhancement of friendly relations, cooperation and relations between Myanmar and India as they are in good neighbourhood, peace and stability at border regions with regional development, measures for running the direct flights between them, promotion of bilateral trade, sending of scholar students for further studies, cooperation in defence measures, political progress in Myanmar, and preparations for holding a free and fair multi-party democratic general election. After the meeting, the Senior General and the Indian Ambassador to Myanmar had documentary photos taken.

Also present at the meeting were SAC Joint Secretary Lt- Gen Ye Win Oo, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe and Director-General U Wunna Han of the Protocol Department, it is reported.
