CBM Governor and Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Receive Ambassador of Nepal to Myanmar

Governor Daw Than Than Swe of the Central Bank of Myanmar and Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Lwin Oo separately received Ambassador of Nepal to Myanmar Mr Harishchandra Ghimire at respective ministries on 9 May.

• During the call between the CBM Governor and the Nepali Ambassador, they frankly discussed matters related to bilateral trade promotion and financial cooperation between Myanmar and Nepal.
• During the call between the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and the Nepali Ambassador, they cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to the further enhancement of friendly bilateral relations between the two countries, expansion of cooperation, particularly in the areas of trade, investment and tourism, as well as closer collaboration in regional and multilateral fora.

The CBM deputy governors, the permanent secretary, officials of MOFA and department heads attended the meeting, reports say.
