Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe received Mr. Chen Hai, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Myanmar, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nay Pyi Taw on 7 May.

During the meeting, they cordially exchanged views on further enhancement of the existing Pauk-Phaw relations, further cooperation for maintenance of peace and stability along the border between Myanmar and China, acceleration of cooperation for Myanmar-China bilateral relations and mutual benefit as well as closer collaboration in both regional and international arena.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister, the permanent secretary, and officials, it is reported.
