In the tenure of State Administration Council Government, efforts are being made to increase exports via border trade posts and regular trade routes. In this regard;
- From 1st to 19th of April 2024 in the fiscal year of 2024-2025, Myanmar earned a total of USD 241.894 million from the export of agro-products to foreign markets via private sector. This year, Myanmar earned more 105.665 million than the corresponding period last year.
- Government agencies, private sector and farmers are making plans to earn USD 1,100 million from the export of two million tonnes of rice in this fiscal year.
From 1st to 19th of April in the fiscal year of 2024-2025, Myanmar has earned a total of USD 657.829 million from the export of agro-products, animal products, fishery products, mineral products, CMP products and other products to foreign markets, it is reported.
