Insurgents of Terrorists Launch an IED Attack on Weinkawng RC Bridge (No. 5/5) in Hsi Hseng

The Government has been making concerted efforts for building roads and bridges with an intent to promote the socio-economic lives of individual citizens in the region and facilitate the transportation. In this regard, terrorist insurgents without rationality are committing remote mine and IED attacks on roads and bridges.

On 28 April, KNDF group and PDF terrorists exploded Weinkawng RC Bridge (No. 5/5) between Hsi Hseng Town and Weinkawng village on Hsi Hseng-San Kar Road in Hsi Hseng Township of Taungyi District in Shan State (South), leaving bridge deck and girders from the side of Hsi Hseng damaged and road transport service by vehicles also suspended.

The insurgents of terrorists have been launching heavy weapon and remote mine attacks on and creating battles in peace and stability of towns, villages, roads and bridges. Such acts of terrorism could not be accepted so that locals strongly condemn such terror acts.
