59th Myanmar Gems Emporium 2024 Held

The 59th Myanmar Gems Emporium to increase foreign exchange for the state, improving financial operations of citizen jewelers, in order to improve the financial flow of pearl traders for citizens by selling pearls locally and improving employment opportunities, was held for 2024 at Mani Yadran Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw on 3-12 May.

  • On the first day of the Gems Emporium, local and foreign gem merchants inspected round the pearl lots, jade and gem lots displayed and the price submissions  for pearl lots  will be sold on 4 May under the open tender system were placed in the respective tender boxes.
  • On the second day of the Gems Emporium, pearl lots from no (1) to no (200) were displayed and 182 pearl lots were sold.
  • On the third day of the Gems Emporium, pearl lots from no (201) to no (400) were displayed and 197 pearl lots were sold.

At the Gems Emporium, a total of 400 pearl lots, 160 gem lots, 1,000 jade lots in Group A, 1,750 jade lots in Group B and 1,800 jade lots in Group C, totaling 4,550 jade lots, will be sold under the open tender system for local and foreign merchants, it is reported.

  • The 59th Myanmar Gems Emporium is scheduled to hold on 3-12 May at the Mani Yadana Jade Hall and 379 pearls lots were sold till 5 May.
