On 4 May, AA insurgents of terrorists, taking position of Bagonnataung village, willfully shelled neighborhood in Buthidaung Township of Rakhine State, landing two shells on No.1 BEHS located in Ward (1), where temporary IDPs take shelter in.
The terrorists’ shell killed two peaceable civilians sheltering in the school and injured 15 other civilians including a one and half-year-old child, a three-year-old child and four other children at the age of 5.
AA insurgents of terrorist have intentionally shelled wards and villages in order to destroy peaceful living and socio-economic status of the locals in Rakhine State. They have launched 13 attacks including the said-incident, killing 57 innocent civilians and injuring 103 other civilians.
AA insurgents of terrorist are attacking towns, villages, and wards where civilians are living in peace. As the insurgents’ actions are totally unacceptable, the public strongly oppose and condemn their acts of violence, reports say.
