Deputy Minister for Home Affairs Chief of Myanmar Police Force Lt-Gen Ni Lin Aung Attends Passing-out Parade of Police Sub-Inspector Training Course No 116/2023

The passing out ceremony of Ye Thiha Company, sub-police inspector training course no. (116/2023) of Myanmar Police Force took place on the parade ground of the Police Officer Training School in Pyin Oo Lwin town of Mandalay region on 3 May with the presence of Deputy Minister for Home Affairs and Chief of the Myanmar Police Force Lt-Gen Ni Lin Aung.

During the event, Deputy Minister and Chief of the Myanmar Police Force presented Outstanding Cadet, Outstanding Training, Outstanding in Law, Outstanding in English and Outstanding in Computer awards to outstanding Cadet Sub-Inspectors respectively. Then, he delivered a speech as follows:

  • The Police Sub-Inspectors should manage their fellows to follow the 16 characteristics of the leadership, Law and Order ruled his subordinates with fair decisions and corruption. It needs to emphasize the four critical objectives of maintaining internal security, and community peace, upholding the rule of law.
  • In conducting security and rule of law, in line with “the tradition of unity between the Myanmar Police Force and Tatmadaw during national emergencies” that is mentioned in the 12 traditions to be followed by the police force members, it needs to make efforts for the current situation of the State to be peaceful and stable in joining hand with Tatmadaw.

The ceremony was attended by Civil Service Academy (Upper Myanmar) Rector, Chief Constable and senior police officers, headmaster of Central Fire Training School and invited guests. The graduating company of Ye Thiha reportedly comprised a total of 345 graduates, including 232 males in-service graduates, 2 males in Bureau of Special Investigation, 110 females in-service graduates and 1 female in Bureau of Special Investigation, it is reported.
