Union Minister U Myint Kyaing Encourages Issuance of Household List and CSC under Pann Khin Project, Observes Collection of Biometric Data

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing and party encouraged the processes of issuance of household list and CSC under Pann Khin project level (3) to locals in Yangon Region as follows:

  • On 3 May, the Union Minister arrived at Office of Head of Ahlon Township Immigration and Population and coordinated necessary efforts after he had asked those, who have not had CSC yet, came to change CSCs, and have lost and damaged CSCs about office-related difficulties.
  •  Nationwide census will be conducted for15 days from 1-15 October and the set date will be extended if data collection has not been finished under various reasons, except for security reason.
  • On 4 May, five members of concerned township committee scrutinized temporary migrants in Hlaingthaya (East) Township. The Union Minister inspected the processes of filling biometric data in the designated forms.

Those temporary migrants were issued 70 household lists and 110 CSCs. Moreover, biometric data collection was conducted to those who have received CSCs at a same place, it is reported.
