Relief Aids and Cash Assistance Provided to Victims of Strong Wind in Villages of Shwetaung Township

The strong wind that hit in Shwetaung Township of Pyay District in Bago Region on 23 April collapsed three residential houses in Tanpusarr, Kwinyarrgyi, Tayotemhaw and Malmal villages and damaged 61 residential houses.

The local military personnel arrived at the strong wind-affected areas on 24 April and provided necessary relief activities there. Moreover, the officials of Pyay military station provided relief supplies and cash assistance to the victims, reports say.
