Rice Bags Provided to Temporarily Displaced Persons in Buthidaung Township

Due to the reckless attacks with heavy weapons and arson attack of AA terrorists targeting Kuntaing, Ywetnyotaung and U Hla Pe villages on 12 April, the locals in those villages are taking shelter in three temporary camps in Buthidaung Township of Rakhine State.

A ceremony to provide rice bags for the temporarily displaced persons was conducted at No. 1 Basic Education High School of that township on 22 April. Then, the officials from the local military station handed over 1,000 bags of rice provided by the Rakhine State government to 955 households (with the rate of one bag and one pyi of rice per household), and gave proper instructions, it is reported.
