Over 100,000 Tourists Enter Bagan Daily starting from First Day of Thingyan (Akyo Day)

According to the officials of the Department of Hotels and Tourism (Bagan Branch), more than 100,000 tourists entered Bagan Ancient Cultural Zone daily and 90 hotels including motels and guest houses in the areas were fully booked.

The travellers visited to Bagan NyaungOo Ancient Cultural Zone by air, private vehicles and passenger buses. It is also crowded with pilgrims. Therefore, the electric bicycles, horse-carts, tri-cycles and taxis are being rent, following the restaurants are also selling their goods increasingly.
