Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye Attends Opening Ceremony of Water-throwing Pavilion for Families of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army, Navy and Air)

At the occasion of 1385 ME, the opening ceremony of the water-throwing pavilion for the families of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army, Navy and Air) was held at the Zeyathiri Lawn in Nay Pyi Taw on 13 April. On behalf of the Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy, Air) General Maung Maung Aye attended the opening ceremony, together with his wife, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Vice Admiral Zwe Win Myint and his wife, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung and his wife, Union level officials and their wives, senior military officers and their wives, military personals and families as well as artists, Yein dance troupes and invited guests.

After the Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) and officials cut the ribbon to open the pavilion, Yein dance troupes performed with the song “Myu Hmaung Wai Kin”, while the attendees sprinkled water to the dance troupe members and guests.

Moreover, Sein Pan and Magyi Yeik Water Pandals in the compound of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) Office commenced Thingyan celebrations joyously.

There will be Thingyan Yein dance performance along with the songs and dances of vocalists and artists with the accompaniment of Myawady Music Troupe and Yein dance performances till the final day of Thingyan. Moreover, charity feasts will be served to the festive comers, it is reported.
