A donation ceremony of the “Silk Road People to People Connectivity Care for the Future” programme, which was provided by the China Foundation for Peace and Development (CFPD) and Myanmar Chinese Cooperation and Communication Centre, took place in Nay Pyi Taw on 10 April. The event was attended by Nay Pyi Taw Council Member U Myint Soe, officials from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to Myanmar, the China-Myanmar Friendship Association, the CFPD and the Ministry of Education.
On 10 January 2024, the CFPD donated 500 Chinese cultural products, 100 copies of published books and 300 volumes of Swemyo Pauk-Phaw magazine (valued at K3.5 million in total) to more than 2,000 students of Yangon University of Foreign Languages as part of the China-Myanmar friendly cultural and educational exchange activities. Likewise, sports equipment and stationaries were donated to the basic education schools at this event.
The Senior President of Myanmar Chinese Cooperation and Communication Centre and Chairman of Myanmar Wushu Federation U Thitsa (aka) Mr. Li Bo Bo handed over the sports equipment and Swemyo Pauk-Phaw magazines which was provided for five education schools in Nay Pyi Taw to the relevant officials.
