Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr Kan Zaw, Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung and Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr. Thet Thet Khine separately received the delegation led by Mr. Sergey Glazyev, Member of the Board of Eurasian Economic Commission – Minister in Charge for Integration and Macroeconomics, , at the respective ministries in Nay Pyi Taw on 8 April.

• During the meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Planning and Finance and the delegation led by Member of the Board of Eurasian Economic Commission, Minister in Charge for Integration and Macroeconomics, they discussed the matters related to financial and customs cooperation between Myanmar and Russia, trade and payment and the possibility of conducting training courses and seminars for the development of human resources.
• During the meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs and the delegation led by Member of the Board of Eurasian Economic Commission, Minister in Charge for Integration and Macroeconomics, they discussed the matters on the enhancement of cooperation between Myanmar and Eurasian Economic Union (EEU/EAEU) member countries in the sectors of trade, investment, business-to-business, and people-to-people contact, among others.
• During the meeting between Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations and the delegation led by Member of the Board of Eurasian Economic Commission, Minister in Charge for Integration and Macroeconomics, both sides cordially discussed and exchanged their views on implementing the Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) signed by the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and promoting economic cooperation in the prioritized areas.
• During the meeting between Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation and the delegation led by Member of the Board of Eurasian Economic Commission, Minister in Charge for Integration and Macroeconomics, both sides discussed matters related to the implementation of the direct export of fertilizers produced in Russia to Myanmar, the export of coffee, which is a Myanmar GAP product, to (EAEU) countries, the use of good varieties of oil crops and cotton crops, natural fertilizer production and technical cooperation, conditions that will be shared and exchanged for pure potato production technology and collaboration related to technical with Yezin Agricultural University (YAU).
• During the meeting between Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism and the delegation led by Member of the Board of Eurasian Economic Commission, Minister in Charge for Integration and Macroeconomics, both sides engaged in friendly and open discussions regarding potential investments from other countries within the Eurasian Economic Commission in Myanmar’s hotels and tourism sector, tourism sector related to coastal area, the development of sports and adventure tourism, facilitating visits to Myanmar by travellers from commission member countries, the development of digital tourism and issues of marketing promotion.

Deputy Ministers, permanent secretaries, directors-general, and senior officials were also present at the meetings, it is reported.
