Handover Ceremony for Two Pairs of Aarogya Maitri Cubes donated by India to Myanmar Armed Forces Held

A handover ceremony for two pairs of Arogya Maitri Cubes donated by India to Myanmar Armed Forces took place at Defence Services General Hospital (1,000-bedded) in Nay Pyi Taw on 29 March, with the attendance of Adjutant-General                Lt-Gen Soe Min Oo, Indian Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr.Vinay Kumar and party, Director of Medical Services Maj-Gen Ko Ko Lwin and medical officials.

During the ceremony, Indian Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr.Vinay Kumar handed over the related documents, medicines and equipment for two pairs of Aarogya Maitri Cubes to Director of Medical Services Maj-Gen Ko Ko Lwin. After that, Adjutant-General Lt-Gen Soe Min Oo, Indian Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr.Vinay Kumar and officials observed round the demonstration of Aarogya Maitri Cubes.

The Aarogya Maitri Cubes is aimed to provide essential medical supplies to the scenes affected by the natural disaster or humanitarian crisis as quickly as possible. The Aarogya Maitri Cubes consists of 72 cubes, and the facility has an operation theatre, a mini-ICU, an outpatient room, a mini laboratory room, x-ray machines, surgical tools, diagnostic Test Kits, stretchers and power generators, and so on. Donating two pairs of Aarogya Maitri Cubes from India to Myanmar Armed Forces will bring benefits to both countries.
