A Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw, currently in Novosibirsk of Russian Federation, visited Novosibirsk State Technical University and Nuclear Energy Information Centre together with officials of Rosatom on 29 March.
Union Minister and party made the following activities:
- On arrival at the Novosibirsk State Technical University, the Union Minister and the Rector and officials cordially discussed matters related to science and technology, as well as cooperation in research and scholarship programmes.
- Next, the Union Minister and party observed the lecture rooms, research booths, the research findings and teaching aids including science and technology subjects.
- They then proceeded to the Nuclear Energy Information Centre. Officials of the Nuclear Energy Information Centre explained the energy information release, awareness campaigns, collaboration with universities, promotion activities of the science and technology sector and work plans of the Nuclear Technology Information Centre established in Myanmar and then the Union Minister raised the questions what he wanted to know.
