Authorities Welcome to Persons in Eight Townships of Union Territory to Serve Voluntary Military Service

Relevant officials of Nay Pyi Taw Council and district/township administrative bodies met the people in the wards/village of eight townships in Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw. Those people are eligible for military service and they will voluntarily serve military service and are filling designated forms at the registration offices for People’s Military Service in respective township. The officials provided cash assistance as well as other commodities and enjoyed lunch together with them.

Officials transported those who will voluntarily serve military service to Interrogation and Accommodation Camp for necessary checks up by vehicles. The concerned military authorities warmly welcomed to them.

As of the statistics, a total of 184 people: seven people from Tat Kone Township, 26 from Ottarathiri Township, 30 from Pobbathiri Township, 12 from Zeyarthiri Township, 56 from Pyinmana Township 12 from Zambuthiri Township, 35 from Dekkhinathiri Township and six from Lewe Township voluntarily enlisted in the army. Among them, those who match with designated checks can undergo 1st batch of military training of People’s Military Service.
