Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Mr Vinay Kumar, Indian Ambassador to Myanmar at the SAC Chairman’s office in Nay Pyi Taw on 29 March.
At the courtesy call, they cordially discussed matters pertaining to cooperation in trade, economic, investment sectors, the increase of cooperation in other sectors including pharmaceutical manufacturing, promotion of military cooperation between two countries on security and defence issues, remarkable progress of Myanmar on its path to democracy and preparations for successful holding of a free and fair election.
Also present at the meeting were Council Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe and other officials, reports say.
