The 53rd Independence Day and National Day reception of Bangladesh was held on 26 March at the Lotte Hotel in Yangon. The Ambassador of Bangladesh to Myanmar, H.E. Dr. Md Monwar Hossain made a welcome speech at the ceremony
Afterwards, Yangon Region Chief Minister and wife, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and wife, along with the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Myanmar and wife, cut a commemorative cake to celebrate Bangladesh’s 53rd Independence Day and National Day. The Yangon Region chief minister and his wife, the deputy minister and his wife, and the ambassador and his wife then took a commemorative photo with the attendees. Following this, the ambassador and his wife hosted a dinner for those who attended the ceremony.
The Yangon Region Government Development Affairs Minister and his wife, the Ambassador who have agreed to be appointed as the Myanmar ambassador to Bangladesh and his wife, ambassadors from foreign embassies in Yangon, chargé d’affaires, resident representatives of the United Nations and invitees attended the ceremony.
