Honorary Awards and Certificates of Honour presented to Artistes who Performed in the Commemorative Drama, and Winners at Respective Competitions to mark 79th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day

The awarding ceremony of prizes and certificates of honour to the artistes who performed in the 79th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day commemorative drama “Love Joining Hands”, and winners in military song, marching song, poem and story competitions was held at the parlour of Bayintnaung Villa in Nay Pyi Taw on 26 March. In this regard:

• The Chairman of the Psychological and Public Relations Committee, Adjutant-General Lt-Gen Soe Min Oo presented honorary awards and certificates to the artistes who took part in the Armed Forces Day commemorative drama “Love Joining Hands”.
• The Chairman of the Leading Committee for Organizing the Armed Forces Day Chief of Armed Forces Training Lt-Gen Htein Win presented honorary awards and certificates to the military song and marching song winners in the competitions of military song, marching song, poem and story marking the 79th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day.
• The Chairman of the Management Committee for Organizing the Armed Forces Day Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command Maj-Gen Saw Than Hlaing also presented honorary awards and certificates to the winners of the poem (amateur level) in the competitions of military song, marching song, poem and story marking the 79th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day.
• The Chairman of the Manuscript Competition Organizing Committee, Director of the Public Relations and Psychological Warfare Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun presented honorary awards and certificates to the respective winners of the short story.

The event was attended by the Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, officials and invited guests. After the event, General Maung Maung Aye hosted a tea party for the attendees and cordially greeted them.
