Since 16 February, PNLO group, KNDF group and PDF terrorists have launched arson attacks on Nam Hu, Kyauk Kachar, San Phu, Parchar Kalo and Donli Taung villages, Mae Nnal Taung region of Hopone Township in southern Shan State, where Pa’O ethnic people reside. Again, they have abused, killed and looted local residents. At last, they retreated from the village. The local ethnic people have fled to safety from the villages and provided the tip-off about the terrorists’ action to the Tatmadaw as they do not bear such terrorists’ acts.
The Tatmdaw personnel joining hands with People’s Militia Unit (local) transformed from the PNO group have conducted necessary community security measures. On 22 March, they, in collaboration with local residents, took measures related to relocation of temporarily displaced ethnic people from other villages, reconstruction works and collective cleaning works in the Kyauk Kachar village destroyed by terrorists.
Concerned officials of Hopone Military Station under the command of Eastern Command and other departmental officials inspected the cleaning works in the said-village, supplied building materials and provided other supplies to the victims, it is reported.
