Chairman of State Administration Council of the Republic of Union of Myanmar Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla offered day meal to the Sayadaws who will receive religious titles in 2024 at Agga Dipati Sasana Beikman in the compound of Maravijaya Buddha Park on 23 March.
Present were specially invited Chairman of State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee Thanlyin Min Kyaung monastery Sayadaw who led 108 local and foreign Sayadaws and two nuns who will be awarded religious titles. Present together with the Senior General and wife to pay respects to the Sayadaws were SAC Vice Chairman Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife, the SAC Secretary and wife, the Joint Secretary and wife, SAC members and wives, Union-level dignitaries, union ministers and wives, the Nay Pyi Taw Council chairman, senior military officers and wives and other officials.
The Senior General and his wife, the Vice-Senior General and wife, and other officials donated offertories to SSMNC Chairman Sayadaw, and other Sayadaws who will receive religious titles and nuns who will become title recipients. Next, the Senior General, his wife and the attendees offered day meal to the Sayadaws and nuns, it is reported.
