Bengalis in Rakhine Stage a Mass Rally against AA Insurgents Committing Terrorist Attacks in Towns and Villages of Rakhine State

Professing themselves to serve the interest of the Rakhine State, the AA terrorist insurgents have been committing terrorist acts constantly in reality with intent to destroy the peace and stability and socioeconomic life of the local residents in the State. As such, the insurgents are launching attacks on non-military targets of the residential areas, religious edifices and schools using drones and heavy weapons. As the local residents can no longer accept the aforesaid destructive acts, they staged a mass rally at the following townships:

• On 19 March, more than 2,000 Bengalis in wards/villages of Buthidaung Township of Rakhine State, who want community peace and stability, staged a mass rally, shouting out the slogans in Burmese and Bengali languages such as “We don’t want AA Insurgents,” “We don’t want any fights” “Let’s defend Buthidaung Township,” “We don’t want civil war,” “No more battles here.”
• On 20 March, Bengalis in wards/villages of Sittway City, who want community peace and stability, staged a mass rally, shouting out the slogans in Myanmar and Bengali languages such as “Let’s defend Sittway,” “We don’t want any fights”, “We don’t want NUG/AA terrorists destroying country’s peace and stability,” “We don’t want AA insurgents shelling residential wards,” and “We don’t want civil war.”
• On March 23, more than 1,500 strong Bengalis from Bomay and Basara villages in Sittway City successfully staged a mass rally, shouting out the slogans in Myanmar and Bengali languages such as “We don’t want AA insurgents shelling residential wards,” They chanted in Burmese/Bengali bilingually, “We don't want AA insurgents who are destroying the peace and tranquility in Sittway”.

As the AA terrorist group is committing terrorist acts on and killing on people who do not support the terrorist group, Bengali people face survival concerns, it is reported.
