Ministries of Russia and Myanmar held coordination meeting on legal affairs for military cooperation to be conducted between Russia and Myanmar in 2024 on 20 March at the Jasmine Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw.
During the meeting, Russian and Myanmar senior officers made opening remarks respectively. Next they discussed and questioned matters related to Russian military legal and judiciary system as well as Myanmar’s military legal system. Afterwards, they posed for documentary photos.
The meeting was attended by Advocate General Lt-Gen Myo Thant Naing of Office of Commander-in-Chief (Army), Mr. Bezbabnov Oleg Gennadievich, the Head of Legal Service of Russian Army and Director of Legal Affairs Department, senior officers of Office of Commander-in-Chief (Army), Russian Military Attache to Myanmar Col Sergey Semenovich Kurchenko and other Russian representatives, it is reported.
