Myanmar Media Delegation Covers Information about Presidential Election in Russian Federation

 A Myanmar media delegation visited Moscow of the Russian Federation to take documentary news on the Presidential Election of the Russian Federation from 15 to 17 March 2024 and to carry out media cooperation in Russia at the invitation of the President of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation.

During the election period, the Myanmar media delegation observed monitoring the online voting and casting votes, monitoring the polling stations in Moscow, electronic voting and voting techniques. They conducted interviews with officials from the polling stations, voters, and international election observers, including Myanmar’s Union Election Commission Chairman U Ko Ko, Mr. Alexsey Valerievich Shaposhnikov, Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation in Moscow, Vice-Chairman Mr. Sholban Kara-ool of the State Duma of the Russian Federation to ask about the election measures.

Four presidential candidates competed in the election. After counting the votes, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin secured 87.28 per cent of the votes and decisively won the election with the excellent voting result. Hence, he can take office as a President of the Russian Federation for another five-year presidency, it is reported.
