Efforts made to Increase Exports in the Fiscal Year of 2023-2024

In the tenure of the SAC Government, efforts are being to increase the exports to foreign markets via regular trade routes and border trade posts.

          From 1 April 2023 to 8 March 2024 in this fiscal year:

• Myanmar has bagged a total of USD 256.44 million from the export of mineral products to foreign markets: USD 33.255 million via the government agencies and USD 223.185 million via private sector.
• Myanmar has earned USD 3,403.451 million from the export of agro- products to foreign markets.

Myanmar primarly exports agro-products, animal products, fishery products, mineral products, CMP products and other products in addtion to forestry products to foreign countries. Over 11-month period, it has generated foreign income of USD 13,716.246 million from the exports to foreign markets, it is reported.
