AA Terrorists’ Mortar Shells Destroy Buildings of Basic Education Post-Primary School

On 13 March, artillery barrages launched by AA insurgents from Khamaungtaw Village of Ponnagyun Township hit Basic Education Post-Primary School in Shwepyitha Village of Sittwe Township. As a result, buildings of the school were destroyed.

AA insurgents are committing reckless sabotages including indiscriminate shelling of towns, villages, and wards and launching attacks, inciting for the well-being of the region. Their intentional attacks on educational infrastructure that cultivates young children for their development are unacceptable. In response to this incident, the local community vehemently denounces and condemns terrorists’ actions, it is reported.
