On 11 March, artillery barrages launched by AA insurgents from the north-western part of Par Da Late Village in Sittway Township hit No (7) Basic Education High School in the village. Tragically, this assault injured one male student and another female student, who were on the way to homes after sitting the first day of 2023-2024 academic year matriculation examination. The injured victims were swiftly transported to local military hospital for urgent medical attention.
AA insurgents are committing reckless sabotages including indiscriminate shelling of towns, villages, and wards and launching attacks, inciting for the well-being of the region. Their reckless attack affects the education of children and state stability. Security forces joining hands together with locals will conduct security measures and counter-terrorism measures so that the students can take the exam safely, it is reported.
