Union Minister for Commerce Delivered an Speech at 2023 China-ASEAN Silk Road E-commerce Forum

Union Minister for Commerce U Aung Naing Oo, currently in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in the People’s Republic of China, delivered an address at the 2023 China-ASEAN Silk Road E-commerce Forum held in at Crowne Plaza Hotel in China on 16 September. In his speech –

• Myanmar makes reforms to attract investment to develop the technology and promote digital trading.
• Therefore, the countries along the Silk Road need to make investments in digital infrastructure and launch transnational cooperation, and innovative and creative measures to develop the e-commerce on Silk Road.

The forum was also attended by Chinese Deputy Minister of Commerce Mr Li Fei, Vice-President of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, business people and entrepreneurs from China and ASEAN countries, it is reported.
