The State Administration Council Member U Shwe Kyein and U Yan Kyaw met the state, district, and township-level departmental officials, town elders, ethnic literature and culture associations and business people in Lashio at the town hall of Lashio on 12 September.
The event was attended by Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye, deputy commander of North-East Command, ministers of state government and officials.
During the meeting, the SAC members talked about the efforts of the government to enhance production based on agriculture and livestock and the measures to enhance the State economy and promote the socioeconomic status of the entire people.
Then, the SAC members U Shwe Kyein and U Yan Kyaw, Chief Minister and officials presented cash in honour to the ethnic literature and culture associations, and cordially greeted the attendees.
