The signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the feasibility study of the ‘Watalone’ tunnel project between the Ministry of Construction’s Highways Department and China Harbour Engineering Co., Ltd. took place at the Ministry’s assembly hall on 8 September.
The ceremony was attended by permanent-secretary of the Ministry of Construction, directors-general of the department of road and the department of bridge, deputy permanent-secretary, deputy directors-general, chief engineers, officials, managing director from China Harbour Engineering Co., Ltd. and officials.
At the ceremony, U Wunna Zaw, the permanent-secretary of the Ministry of Construction, delivered a speech, while the Managing Director of China Harbour Engineering Co., Ltd. explained the work to be carried out.
Later, permanent-secretary of the Ministry of Construction, U Wunna Zaw, along with the Managing Director of China Harbour Engineering Co., Ltd., signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the feasibility study of the ‘Watalone’ tunnel project, and exchanged it.
