The Passing-out Parade of Myanmar Police Force Sub-Inspector Training Course No. (113/2022) Yebala Company was held at the parade ground of the Police Officer Training School in Pyin Oo Lwin Township of Mandalay Region on 8 September. It was attended by the State Administration Council Member Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Yar Pyae.
During the event, Union Minister took salute of the cadet sub-inspectors with slow-march past and quick-march past. Then, he inspected the graduating company.
Afterward, Union Minister presented excellent awards to outstanding cadet sub-inspectors. Then, he delivered a speech as follows:
- It needs to emphasize the four critical objectives of maintaining internal security, and community peace, upholding the rule of law, preventing narcotic drug risks and carrying out community welfare activities to ensure the peace and stability of people lives in an era of development and change.
- The police forces have been working together with the people to ensure internal security and law enforcement and also carrying out effectively for the security in border areas. So, they must always be aware of security and have the mindset of cooperation and obeying orders.
- They are required for timely assistance during natural disasters and active participation in public sector activities.
- Female police officers also need to apply their training in practical areas where they will be assigned duties.
- In conducting security and rule of law, in line with “the tradition of unity between the Myanmar Police Force and Tatmadaw during national emergencies” that is mentioned in the 12 traditions to be followed by the police force members, it needs to make efforts for the current situation of the State to be peaceful and stable in joining hand with Tatmadaw.
The passing-out parade ceremony was attended by Directors-General of units and departments under the Ministry of Home Affairs, senior police officers, rector of Civil Service Academy (Upper Myanmar), principal of Central Fire Services Training and invited guests.
