State Administration Council Member Met with Departmental Officials, People and IDPs in Kayah State

State Administration Council Member Porel Aung Thein accompanied by Kayah state Chief Minister and officials met with state government members, departmental officials, social associations, entrepreneurs, town elders, people, and displaced persons, health staff, basic education teachers on 8 and 9 September.

• During the public meeting with state government members, departmental officials, social associations, entrepreneurs, town elders, people at the state hall of Loikaw town, he pointed out that the State Administration Council is accelerating the comprehensive development of the national interest plus reducing poverty. He added that he wants all the people to work together to improve the rule of law.
• The SAC member cordially met displaced persons at the city hall of Loikaw and provided them foodstuff of rice and edible oil.
• the SAC member then visited the State General Hospital in Loikaw and emphasized the healthcare issues of the health workers at the State General Hospital. Afterwards, the SAC member donated K 1 million and a medical grade Sony (LMD- 2435MD) to the General Hospital with encouragement to the patients and IDP patients by providing nutritious foods and cash assistance.
• Then, the SAC member met respective teachers of basic education at the state Education Office and provided K 1 million for implementing the educational development activities in the State.
• He also met with the district and township education officers, headmasters/ headmistresses and teachers and inspected the progress of two-storey buildings in the No 1 Basic Education High School in Loikaw township.

At the meetings, the participants reported about the matters of regional development and peace and security matters. The SAC member coordinated with the state government members and departmental officials, it is reported.
