PDF Members with no Crime Records Returning Legal Fold Provided Cash Awards and Foodstuff

State Administration Council is extending invitation to those from opposing armed organizations under various names including PDFs to return to legal fold. In this regard:

  • On 29 February, a total of 12 PDF members (10 males and two females) from Tamu, Hkamti, Phaung Pyin, Kalay, Monywa townships of Sagaing region and Pakokku township of Magway region returned to legal fold, surrendering one MK-12 assault rifle, one Stalliom PA-100 Short Gun assault rifle and one KUZAY-GN 19 pistol to the concerned authorities.
  •  A total of cash reward K34 million:K4 million for one MK-12 assault rifle; K4 million for one Stalliom PA-100 Short Gun assault rifle; K2 million for one KUZAY-GN 19 pistol and 2 million for each person who returned to legal fold, and supplies and foodstuffs were provided to them.

State Administration Council welcomes and provides necessary assistance to the people who returned to legal fold. Moreover, they are being entrusted to the care of their parents and guardians. Up to 29 February 2024, a total of 735 persons including 577 males and 158 females have already returned the legal fold, it is reported.
