The Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a delegation led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs H. E. Mr. Andrey Rudenko of the Russian Federation at the Credentials Hall of the SAC Chairman’s Office in Nay Pyi Taw on 20 February. During the call, they cordially highlighted the following points;
- The long and strong diplomatic relations between Myanmar and Russia, and further improved friendship and cooperation,
- The visits of Heads of States and high-ranking officials to each other,
- The state of running flights between the two countries to improve bilateral tourism and trade activities,
- The activities of cooperation for peaceful use of nuclear technology, and the development of the social and education sectors,
- The cooperation plans for receiving sufficient fertilizers for Myanmar and for generating hydro power and solar power generation, and further measures to be taken to promote amicable relations and improve cooperation between the two countries.
Also present together with the Senior General were SAC Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe, Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister U Lwin Oo and other officials. The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister was accompanied by Russian Ambassador to Myanmar H. E. Mr. Iskander Azizov and officials, it is reported.
