Efforts made to Increase Exports in the Fiscal Year of 2023-2024

In the tenure of State Administration Council Government, efforts are being made to increase exports via border trade posts and regular trade routes. In this regard;

  • During 10-month period from 1st of April 2023 to 9th of February 2024 in this fiscal year, Myanmar earned USD 1,152.19 million from the export of 1,354,254.287 tonnes of varieties of pulses: 1,214,528.93 tonnes via maritime trade route and 139,725.357 tonnes via border trade posts.
  • During 10-month period from 1st of April 2023 to 9th of February 2024, Myanmar earned USD 7,820.597 million: USD 2,898.214 million from the export of CMP products via government agencies USD 4,922.383 million via private sector.

In February, 53 international cargo ships will be docked at the Yangon International Port, it is reported.
