During the events, the officials of UEC explained that once a voter cast the vote by using the voting machine, the voting receipt marking the logo of party/candidate that the voter choose will be appeared from the printer. Three seconds later, the printout will drop down in the ballot-box. Accordingly, voters can put the trust in this machine. As cent per cent of voting results were found after rechecks were made on trial voting, the use of MEVE to cast vote can be reliable and can no longer occur voting frauds. There will be neither voting frauds nor invalid votes due to printing ballot papers. Again, there will be many benefits because of no more invalid votes balloted by the voters in the elections for various reasons.
The events were attended by the UEC members, officials concerned and officers and staff of relevant departments, and the trial voting were demonstrated also, it is reported.
