PDF terrorists wantonly launched 40 mm grenade launcher attack and small arms attacks on Kan Village in Mingin Township, Sagaing Region on 7 February, injuring four innocent male locals in the village. Further, the terrorists torched the village on their way of retreat, destroying 35 houses.
Wanton attacks of PDF terrorists on residential houses in villages and towns frequently claim innocent civilians including aged persons and children, and cause serious damage to property of the people. In this regard, the entire population does not bear such acts of terrorism, expressing strong opposition to those acts.
Security personnel are intensifying security measures and keeping doing necessary security works around the scene, it is reported.
