A Myanmar delegation led by Dr Kan Zaw, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, U Maung Maung Ohn, Union Minister for Information, and U Aung Naing Oo, Union Minister for Commerce, departed from Yangon for the People’s Republic of China to attend the opening ceremony of the 7th China-South Asia Expo and the 27th China (Kunming) Import and Export Fair, 2023 GMS Economic Corridor Governors Forum and related events on 14 August.
The events are co-organized by the Ministry of Commerce of PRC and Yunnan Province People’s Government and will be held in Kunming from 16 to 20 August. The 7th China-South Asia Expo will be organized with the topic of “Solidarity Coordination & Coordination for Common Development” and included 15 multi-sector galleries and over 10 forums including 4th China-South Asia Cooperation Forum ၊ 2023 GMS Economic Corridor Governors Forum, The 16th China- Southeast Asia Business Forum, The 4th Forum on China- South Asia Technology Transfer and Collaborative Innovation, The 11th China- South Asia & Southeast Asia Arts Week, The 4th Lancang – Mekong ၊ Audiovisual Week will be held simultaneously and so will the China-South Asian Fair Digital platform.
The trade expo is held with the aims at boosting exchange of cooperation between China and South-Asian countries and South-East Asian Countries, exchanging dialogue regarding with the cooperation and sharing friendship, it is reported.
