State Administration Council Member Khun San Lwin, Chief Minister of Shan State, state ministers, the chairperson of the Pa-O Self-Administered Zone, the secretary of state government, and other officials visited the Sanphu Monastery in the Pa-O Self-Administered Zone in Hopong Township on 27 January. They paid their respects to Sayadaw U Indaka of the monastery, and offered alms.
Subsequently, SAC Member Khun San Lwin gave an encouragement words to the fire victims, offering K100 million which was provided by SAC and K30 million provided by Shan state government in financial assistance. The village administrator and the village elder accepted the cash assistance. Furthermore, SAC Member and party inspected the progress of house reconstruction for the villagers, it is reported.
