Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla attended the awarding ceremony of the 23rd Arts and Science Research Conference of the Ministry of Education in conjunction with an honorary dinner at Naypyitaw State Academy in Nay Pyi Taw on 26 January. Also present at the ceremony were the Joint Secretary and his wife, council members and their wives, Union-level dignitaries, Union ministers and their wives, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chair, senior military officers, the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, deputy ministers, rectors and professors, the president of Myanmar Academy of Arts and Science and members, resource persons and guests.
At the awarding ceremony, the Senior General presented prizes of the 17th Myanmar Academy of Arts and Science to prize winners whereas the wife of the Senior General handed best research paper awards in Myanmar and English to the winners. Other officials presented first, second and third prizes in addition to honorary awards to relevant resource persons in respective subjects.
At the honorary dinner, the Senior General and his wife enjoyed the songs and dances performed by artistes of Department of Fine Arts, Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture. Then, they had the honorary dinner together with those present, it is reported.
