U Ko Ko Hlaing, Union Minister for International Cooperation, received Mr. Deng Xijun, Special Envoy for Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs China, at the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on 28 July.
During the meeting, they cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to further consolidation of the existing Pauk-Phaw friendship, accelerating the implementation of Myanmar-China bilateral projects on the basis of mutual benefit, closer coordination for the smooth flow of border trade, promotion of trade and commerce between Myanmar and China, implementation of repatriation of verified displaced persons from Rakhine State as well as regional and international matters of mutual interest, it is reported.
